Many of our patients attending the clinic have already had a consultation with a dentist about implants and been unable to afford the treatment suggested.

It is difficult to give estimates of cost without seeing a patient as there often several treatment options possible. Opinion may vary as to the best approach and therefore we cannot give you a “quote” based on an existing treatment plan. We frequently find that a simplified plan will give much greater cost savings than just lower fees

If you want to make your own comparisons then the following table may help.

In all case we give a full written treatment plan showing costs at each stage.

Consultation	£100	This takes about 1 hour and we thoroughly go through all treatment options
Implant each	£550	It is not always necessary to use an implant for every missing tooth- see bridges below
Abutment	From £150	This is the component that links the implant with the crown bridge etc
Crown	From £300	This is the part that is visible, the actual “tooth”. We tend to use all porcelain crowns on front teeth as they look better and porcelain bonded to metal on back teeth
Bridge (per tooth)	From £325	Where several teeth are missing in a row then two or more implants can support a row of “teeth” which are linked together, the cost shown is per tooth
Overdentures	From £300	Implants can be used to support dentures with a series of press stud type attachments to hold the denture securely. Generally this requires 4 implants in the upper and 2 in the lower with denture abutments on each
Overdenture abutment	From £200	This is the cost of the press stud type attachment

Thus an idea of cost can be gained by adding up the parts as in the examples below

Single tooth

Consultation £100 + implant £550 + abutment £150 + crown £300 = £1150

2 tooth bridge

Consultation £100 + implant £550 + abutment £150 + bridge tooth x2 £650 = £1500

3 tooth bridge

Consultation £100 + implant x2 £1100 + abutment x2 £300 + bridge tooth x3 £975 = £2475

Lower overdenture

Consultation £100 + implant x2 £1100 + abutment x2 £400 + denture £300 = £1900

Upper overdenture

Consultation £100 + implant x4 £2200 + abutment x4 £800 + denture £300 = £3400
